Electrolysis is not for the most sensitive among us. Depending on the region and the thickness of the hair, we will apply a current of 8-12 seconds to your hair root. This feels similar to a wasp sting, a pain that gradually appears, builds stronger, and ultimately leaves a feeling of swelling; and this for each and every treated hair. What helps is a good night's sleep, painkillers, or a numbing lidocaine cream, but you need to obtain this through your general practitioner and apply it beforehand.
However...
That said, I am aware of the existence of a new generation of flash thermolysis machines that can achieve similar results in a fraction of the time (and thus also sensitivity). I have already been able to first hand experience these techniques and will most definitely consider incorporating one into my business in the future, if my budget allows for it and there is sufficient interest, but then we are talking about a very different price range of treatments than those I currently offer
