Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition that manifests itself in redness, bumps, pimples and inflammation on the face. It is not curable, but can be controlled by medication and treatments. Otherwise, Rosacea can lead to permanent swelling, facial couperose, eye disorders and very painful reactive skin. To alleviate and reduce the external symptoms of rosacea you have come to the right place as I can offer you the following treatments.Facial Care
Steroid or cortisone creams I cannot recommend. Although these have a very powerful impact as a short term remedy, this effect disappears as soon as you stop applying them and you will see the rosacea come back much stronger. Moreover, these creams have very negative side effects. Slower approaches can produce more lasting results, although they may require some patience. For example, I suggest having the skin regularly cleaned with suitable peels that strengthen the skin without unnecessarily irritating it or provoking reactions.

LED Irradiation
I always combine these peels with a relaxing session under my LED dome, whose anti-inflammatory effect soothes the skin and helps pimples and bumps recover faster. Furthermore, red light produces Glycosaminoglycans that hydrate the skin from within, which promotes collagen production, strengthens the skin barrier and limits subsequent rosacea flare-ups. This effect can be further enhanced via IPL: broad spectrum light flashes whose healing effect coagulates your dilated capillaries and strongly reduces facial redness.

Pulsed Light
This also shows the advantage of the specific pulse technology that I use, namely VPL, where nano flashes accumulate in a pulse train and thus provide a stronger effect with less irritation than is the case with standard IPL. This is especially interesting to avoid the development of couperose and to tackle it in time before a painful solution such as diathermy is required, which becomes extra difficult on rosacea skin.
